Q. WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO MY SESSION?
Check out my Style Guide to find outfit inspiration with links to the pieces from brands I love! My favorite colors to photograph are mustard, taupe, olive green, denim (is denim a color??) brown, black, and white. Use layers to create texture and interest. Wear jewelry! Rings, head pieces, layered necklaces, and bracelets will draw in a viewer's eye. Don't be afraid to show off your personality!
Q. ARE YOU INSURED?
Yes! Leigh Anne Brader Photography, LLC is covered with both equipment and liability insurance.
Q. WHAT DO YOU SHOOT WITH?
I am a Pentax user! I shoot with a Pentax K-1 and K-3 paired with 35mm, 50mm, 85mm and 70-200mm lenses.
Q. HOW WILL I RECEIVE MY IMAGES?
Your images will be delivered on an online gallery/print store. You will be able to download high-resolution files, choose favorites, create albums, order prints, and share your images online with your family and friends!
Q. DO I RECEIVE RIGHTS TO THE IMAGES FROM MY SESSION?
You will receive printing rights, meaning that you are able to print the delivered images wherever you choose. Who doesn't love a quick 1hr Walmart turnaround?! Copyright and ownership of the images remains with me. This means that you are required to obtain written consent before editing, cropping, selling, or publishing images from your session.
Q. WHY CAN'T WE EDIT THE IMAGES YOU DELIVER?
You hired me because of my style, which means both the way I direct and photograph you, as well as how I edit. I spend hours, and often days editing your images to my artistic standards. You wouldn't purchase a professional artist's painting just to paint your own work over it, right? If you're looking for a different style, I'd be happy to refer you to different photographers! :)
Q. CAN I SEE THE ORIGINAL IMAGES/RAW FILES?
I do not give out raw images - edited images are the finished product you are paying for. I shoot in RAW, which is a file format that allows my camera to store a massive amount of information. These files are not "pictures", but simply files full of data; they cannot be opened without the proper software. They are overall more grey in color, because RAW files allow for colors and exposures to be pushed and pulled, allowing the photographer to create and keep within the boundaries of their own style. Delivering unedited photographs would be like ordering a wedding cake and receiving just the ingredients.
